2. The Nature-Inspired Room

Many studies have proven green spaces benefit one’s mental health, improving symptoms of depression and anxiety. So why not bring nature into your meditation room?

Add potted indoor plants to the space, and don’t worry if you don’t have a green thumb. Plants like pothos, aloe vera and snake plants are easy to keep alive. Likewise, a parlor palm can reach two to six inches indoors, adapting well to changes in temperature, humidity and lighting.
