Here are a few ideas for the different aromatherapy fragrance oils you can try out and their benefits!

Lavender has the properties of being extremely calming and relaxing. If you happen to experience stress, diffusing this oil into your space can help you relax and feel release. It also smells pleasant and floral, which many people love.

Chamomile is another fragrance oil that can have calming effects on the body and the mind, much like lavender. In fact, the two are often used together for a calming effect and a delightful smell. Chamomile is most often used in tea, but diffusing it can bring a lot of the same benefits. From aiding in digestion to soothing anxiety and depression, it has many benefits.

Sage is a very earthy and natural scented oil. It has a variety of spiritual and practical properties that make it a great choice for aromatherapy. Not only can you combine it with others in order to get great fragrance profiles, but it is said to be cleansing, grounding and emotionally clearing.

In the fall and winter, cinnamon can help to feel cozy and introduce a little bit of spice into your life. Cinnamon oil has been linked to a variety of benefits, from improving your skin to helping you achieve better sleep.

Tea Tree

Tea tree oil can be extremely healing for many situations, including aromatherapy. Not only does tea tree oil have the power to treat minor cuts and burns, but it can also be great for clearing your sinuses, which makes it a great oil to diffuse.

However, if you’re looking to clear up your sinuses and feel completely refreshed you can totally turn to eucalyptus oil. If you’re familiar with most chest rubs and cold medicine inhalers, they usually have a base of eucalyptus. Eucalyptus is one of the best oils to cleanse your sinuses and help you clear up any congestion you might be feeling.

Ylang Ylang

This oil has a variety of benefits, including helping to reduce depression and anxiety, boosting your energy and even helping to improve your skin. This can be another one that works exceptionally well when blended with other oils such as jasmine or lavender.

Speaking of jasmine, this is another aromatherapy oil that can be calming and relaxing, as well as uplifting. It can help to soothe anxiety and depression, and it smells amazing. Much like chamomile, many people prefer to drink jasmine in the form of a tea, but the oil can also be a great alternative if you aren’t in the mood to have a cup. You can also drop some jasmine oil in your baths for another use.

Bergamot is an earthy and natural scent that many people absolutely love, and it can go extremely well alongside other oils in order to create a great aromatherapy experience. Not only does this oil smell lovely, but it also has the ability to reduce stress, pain and inflammation in many parts of the body. If you want something to diffuse on its own or to combine with another oil, this might be a great choice for you.

Peppermint makes many people think of the holiday season or the wintertime in general, and you might be spot on with that one. It is a cheerful oil that can help improve focus and attention, as well as helping you feel more awake and energized. Many people chew mint gum or have mints before taking a test or working on a big project, and that’s part of the reason why. If you want to feel focused, alert and uplifted, this could be the oil for you.
