Whether you’re a fan of fragrance oils in general or you love the scent of lavender specifically, there are so many different ways that you can use lavender fragrance oil in your home and your life to get the amazing aromatherapy benefits it has to offer. No matter what your experience has been thus far, you can find so many different uses for lavender oil. From your bathroom to the relaxation you feel all throughout your home, here are some things you can do with lavender fragrance oil.

Wear It As Perfume

This is one of the simplest things you can do with lavender oil, and it’s also one of the most effortless and fun ways to use it. Who needs perfume when you have pure lavender? Whenever people ask you about your signature scent, you can simply say you’re wearing pure nature!

Drop It In The Bath

How about a relaxing bubble bath complete with the scent of lavender? This is a stunningly relaxing way to unwind and kick back. You can take a bath simply with the inclusion of oils, or you can drop it in alongside a foaming soap or bubble bath! If you want to get creative, you can even DIY your own bath bombs with lavender oil inside.

Diffuse It In The Air

Much like any essential oil or aromatherapy oil, you can always get a diffuser to let it radiate throughout the room. This is a simple and pleasant way to let the smell of lavender make its way through your space.

Make Candles

If you’d rather have a classic method of dispersing scent throughout a space, you can always make your own candles and include lavender fragrance oil in them. It’s actually fairly simple to make soy wax candles on your own, and you can include a variety of scents alongside your lavender candles if you want!

Drop It In Your Candles

If you truly don’t want to go to the trouble of making your own candles, you can always take the easier route and drop a few droplets of the fragrance oil into an already-burning candle — preferably, one that has a scent that blends well with the lavender aroma or one without a scent entirely. This can be an easy option if you simply want a little bit of lift without all of the effort.

Make Bar Soap

There are so many recipes online for making bar soap yourself, so if you want to make your very own using lavender oil, you definitely can. Plus, there are so many creative ways that you can enhance your soap. You can include dried flowers, coloring and other oils in addition to lavender.

Make Hand Soap

Just like you can make your very own bar soap, you can also make your very own liquid hand soap. You can either follow a DIY recipe that you found online to make it from scratch or you can even simply drop a few drops of lavender oil into a mild organic soap and mix it up in order to include that scent. It’s all about how much you want to DIY it.

Mix It With Lotion

Speaking of mixing lavender fragrance oil into other things, another great idea for using it as a beauty product is mixing it with lotion. Mixing your lavender oil with lotion that you put all over your body can help it radiate as a perfume and also create the calming effect that lavender oil often has. This can be especially noticeable when you usually use unscented lotion.

Shower Drain Aromatherapy

One helpful trick that you can use if you want your entire bathroom to smell like lavender is to drop a few dots of lavender fragrance oil into your shower drain right before you take a warm or hot shower. Not only does this make your shower experience much more luxurious, but it can radiate the smell of lavender throughout your entire bathroom so that it lingers all day long. Aromatherapy can be incredibly soothing after a long day.

Lavender Oil and Its Uses

There are so many ways that you can use lavender fragrance oil in your life, from not wearing it the lotion you put on your body to radiating it all over your living space. No matter what your method of choice is, using lavender oil is a great way to feel luxurious, relaxed and calm all day long. Are you a lover of lavender? Or do you simply adore any aromatherapy adventure?
