There are many reasons Black Friday starts earlier every year, including inflation and delayed shipping. Retailers want to ensure you receive your gifts before Christmas, so they’re beginning sales before expected. If you’re already looking forward to holiday gift-giving, shopping early Black Friday deals is the best way to knock out your list ASAP.

Here are where early Black Friday deals are happening this year.

What Is Black Friday?

Black Friday is one of the most significant sales of the year. Thanksgiving is the last major holiday before Christmas, and the day after kicks off the traditional shopping season. Cyber Monday follows Black Friday, which offers online discounts. These events entice people to get a jumpstart on their Christmas shopping and snag the best deals on gifts for their loved ones.

1. Amazon

Amazon’s early access sale was Oct. 11-12, which gave Prime members access to many deals, but there are more to come. This seems a tad early to begin Christmas shopping, but consumers are starting as early as September this year to snag discounts and prepare for the upcoming holidays. Amazon is the biggest retailer and conglomerate for many reasons, which is why it has one of the best-known sales.

Amazon has huge Black Friday deals that start in October and last through December. It offers Daily Deals and Lightning Deals that Prime members get first dibs on and happen every week leading up to Christmas. Some fantastic deals are going on right now, from kitchen appliances to running shoes. Amazon Prime’s biggest enticement is its fast and free shipping policy, ensuring your items arrive on time.

2. Walmart

Walmart’s Black Friday deals have started early as well. It has significant sales before Christmas every year that consumers look forward to. Many items are already on sale and will likely decrease more on Nov. 25. Walmart has deals on tech, kitchen appliances and more.

Walmart has impressive rollbacks leading up to its Black Friday event. Its rollbacks are known to consumers as Deals for Days and already include AirPods, originally priced at $169, now marked down to $149.99. A Touchscreen Air Fryer is $69, initially $129. These deals are available in-store and on the website, so you can grab them even if you can’t make it to the store. Take advantage of early holiday shopping by snagging these deals while they last.

3. Target

Target is another popular retailer that goes big on Black Friday. It’s waiting until after Thanksgiving to start putting out deals for customers. Early Black Friday sales are popping up everywhere, so you must do your research to find the best discount on the item you’re searching for. Target is offering a price match guarantee this year, so if anything you buy goes on sale at a lower price before Christmas Eve, it will adjust the cost of the item.

Target has great sales on clothing for the whole family, tech and furniture that you won’t want to miss this year. It’s hosting new deals every week leading up to its Black Friday event. It’s also doing a deal of the day similar to Amazon on items like Apple AirPods. Laptops, printers and computer accessories are up to 40% off.

4. Best Buy

Best Buy offers many deals leading up to the holiday season, including a value of the day like Target and Amazon. Early Black Friday deals include Samsung washers and dryers, refrigerators and other appliances.

Samsung tablets are advertised at a reduced price of $600 when they are usually $780. You can save up to $300 on select Windows laptops and up to $900 on big-screen TVs. Like Amazon, Best Buy has exclusive deals for members like its My Best Buy program. Member Monday also gives members access to exclusive offers that only last for one day.

Dealing With Holiday Shopping

With sales rolling out this early, Black Friday deals may not be as impressive as they’ve been in the past. Shoppers are already buying gifts, and retailers are doing their best to keep up with the trend by offering great deals on tech and appliances. You might want to get a jumpstart on these offers before they’re gone to ensure you get the gifts you want for your loved ones.

Early Black Friday Deals

Black Friday falls on Nov. 25 this year, with Cyber Monday coming in hot on Nov. 27. Some sales last throughout the weekend to reach as many consumers as possible. The doorbusters with the most significant discounts are typically first-come-first-serve, so ensure all your payment information is updated so you’re ready to snag those deals while they’re hot.
