“The Devil Wears Prada 2” is finally in the works, and the leaked set photos are getting the fans excited. Nearly two decades after the original film inspired fashionistas worldwide, Miranda Priestly, Andy Sachs, Emily Charlton and more are back, this time in a world where fashion moves faster than ever. Discover “The Devil Wears Prada” outfits that we’re stealing for our fall wardrobes.

The Cast List of “The Devil Wears Prada 2”

The cast of “The Devil Wears Prada 2” is getting a revamp. While the main plot is still under wraps, we found a few new faces in the mix. The sequel will feature the original cast members — Anne Hathaway as Andy Sachs, Meryl Streep as Miranda Priestly, Emily Blunt as Emily Charlton, Stanley Tucci as Nigel Kipling and Lily as Tracy Thoms.

Unfortunately (or fortunately for some, iykyk), Adrian Graneir’s character Nate Cooper — Andy’s boyfriend — isn’t coming back. In 2020, Adrian distanced himself from Hollywood to move to a ranch in Bastrop, Texas, with his wife and two children to practice environmentalism as a lifestyle

Simone Ashley, BJ Novak, Lucy Liu, Justin Theroux, Pauline Chalamet, Caleb Hearon, Conrad Ricamora, Helen J Shen and Kenneth Branagh join the cast. Reports say the plot will circle around how Miranda Priestly deals with the slow dwindling of traditional magazine publishing. Nothing much is known as of now, aside from the leaked set photos, giving us inspiration as we revamp our fall wardrobe.

7 “The Devil Wears Prada 2” Outfits We’re Stealing This Fall

The cast graced New York City’s streets in these fall-ready ensembles.

1. Black Silk-Organza Maxi Dress

Anne Hathaway was seen in an all-black ensemble, which fans speculated may be for a funeral scene in the upcoming movie. This show-stopping dress is crafted from lightweight, semi-sheer silk organza. It features pintucked pleats that cinch the waist, creating a beautifully defined silhouette. The style and fabric is perfect for layering with chunky knits or bold outwear, plus the cinched waist and flared skirt makes it effortlessly chic and stylish.

The dress can be worn as is or with a long coat, as seen on Anne. Any pleated black dress can make you rock this look. For a more casual look, pair it with Chelsea boots. For a more sophisticated appeal, basic ballerina flats or heels would be perfect.

2. Checkered Mesh Top and Pleated Panel Skirt

If there’s an outfit that screams fall season, it’s this ensemble. The top is crafted from fine, stretchy mesh with a bold check pattern. It’s slightly sheer, fitted and long-sleeved, offering a playful flash of skin while remaining comfortable. You can wear it over a bralette, under a cardigan or under a slip dress as the weather gets colder.

According to Instagram user @devilwearspradafashion, the Fendi pleated panel skirt costs over $2,000. It’s something you can replace with any affordable yet quality pleated skirt you already have in your closet. Don’t forget to complete the look with stylish sunglasses and a pair of studded leather sandals.

3. Pinstripe Corset Top and Wide-Leg Pants

Emily Blunt is back in her signature red hair and stylish ensemble. She wears a Widerhoeft pinstripe corset top, wide-leg pants by Jean Paul Gaultier and a Dior-emblazoned shirt. The D-Jopurney bag and shades were also from Dior. It’s honestly one of the best “The Devil Wears Prada” outfits we’ve seen so far!

The bustier design is so dramatic and sculptural, channeling both vintage corsetry and modern sustainability. The wide-leg silhouette is accentuated by a corset-style waist, complete with self-ties and structured seaming. We’re taking inspiration from this look by partnering more corset tops with wide-leg pants this fall.

4. Striped Shirt Dress

Last month, Anne was seen in a chic TWP Brooke Stirpe Shirt Dress and the classic Chanel Slingback heels. It’s the perfect ensemble for the summer-to-fall transition, perfectly capturing the airy vibes of sunny days and cozy fall aesthetic. We love how this reminded us you can look effortlessly chic during fall.

Because of this, we’re stacking our wardrobes with one-and-done outfits, like shirt dresses. We’d rather stick to basic colors and patterns and be more experimental with accessories and shoes. Honestly, we can imagine wearing that stunning shirt dress with knee-high boots.

5. Shirt Dress, Vest and Wide-Leg Denim Pants

Lily is definitely a New Yorker in this stunning outfit, featuring the hues of fall. The jaw-dropping shirt dress is from Lafayette 148 New York, while the base outfits feature a vest and wide-leg denim pants. You can copy the look by elevating the casual look with an all-orange ensemble. Use accessories or a statement piece, like an olive green bag, for that instant pop of color.

If there’s anything that Tracy Thoms inspired us to do, it’s to choose rich, seasonal hues like brown, cream and burgundy this season. Build your look using various shades and textures of that color to create depth. Layer intelligently with different fabrics, like suede and leather and incorporate a statement accessory of a different color for that modernized look.

6. Waistcoat and a Maxi Dress

This “The Devil Wears Prada 2” outfit is from Gabriela Hearst, featuring a wine-red waistcoat which Anne wore layered over a blue pinstripe maxi dress. It seems like Andy loves her stripes and layers this sequel, and we’re not complaining about it. Most of her outfits are fall-worthy looks.

One thing we love about this outfit is that it shows how a well-structured waistcoat can make a difference in your one-and-done outfits. If you have maxi dresses and want to elevate your style, try wearing a waistcoat on top and wear leather knee-high boots.

7. Tapestry Mini Dress

Simone Ashley looked so stunning in this tapestry mini dress with leather harness straps layered over a white collared shirt. She also wore a pair of black knee-high socks and Giuseppe Zanotti Raquel black pointed heels. The whole ensemble redefines the preppy aesthetic, which is characterized by a laidback yet youthful style. It’s reminiscent of classic school uniforms but with a fashion-forward twist.

What we learned from this is to not be afraid to embrace statement hardware and edgy details and mix them with fall classics. Incorporate leather straps, gallery-worthy prints and metallic accessories to make a statement this fall.
