There’s so much talk nowadays about affirmations, manifesting your goals and building self love from within, and those things are all amazing additions to life. But how do you get started in loving yourself intentionally and fully? There are so many tips and techniques out there that can help you dive into self love and confidence, and one of the best is to literally speak it into existence. No matter what area of your life you’re trying to build your confidence in, affirmations have the power to help you see yourself in the light you’ve always wanted. If you have a bit of trouble vocalizing love for yourself — or even others, for that matter — reminding yourself that you love yourself can be a great way to center back to your intentions. Try saying this as an antidote to negative or self-deprecating thoughts.

Speaking of getting specific with your affirmations, naming qualities you love about yourself can absolutely build confidence not just in your choices, but in who you are as a person.
