However, those nights often get hot, and you might need a bit more than a few sips of wine to cool back down. Rosé Slushy

Strawberry Mango Slushy

Serve up summer with a strawberry mango wine slushy. The ingredients call for 1 to 2 cups of your choice of wine depending on how thick you’d like your drink, another 2 cups of frozen strawberries and mango, and the juice of half a small lemon. To make the first slush, blend the wine, strawberries and lemon juice until they’re well combined. Repeat the process with the mango.

Create an eye-catching drink by layering the slushies by flavor. You could either fill the glasses 50/50 or alternate flavors more frequently to get a good mix. Either way, these classic summer tastes will brighten up your next seasonal get-together.

Cherry Vanilla Wine Slushy

Is a Cherry Coke one of your favorite drinks? A cherry vanilla wine slushy might be the best upgraded version of the classic beverage. Start by grabbing 16 ounces of frozen pitted cherries, ¼ teaspoon of vanilla extract and 2 cups of a fruity, sweet wine.

The recipe recommends Moscato or Riesling, but feel free to use one you know you like if you prefer. You can also use fresh cherries if you want — just pit and freeze them before you start mixing. Blend everything together to create a slushy that might convert your soda-drinking friends to wine.

Cherry Frosé Slushy

If you prefer a tarter cherry drink, go with the cherry frosé slushy. This specific recipe uses Montmorency cherries — also known as the tart cherry. You’ll need two cups of the frozen fruits and ½ cup of their unsweetened juice, as well as a bit of salt, ice, ½ cup of sugar and 2 cups of a bold rosé.

To start, boil the cherry juice and sugar together for about three minutes and transfer the mixture to a glass or container you can store in the fridge. When you’re ready to break out your new wine slushy recipe, add everything — along with half of the now-cooled cherry simple syrup — to a blender. Mix, pour and serve the beverage for a delicious twist on your usual rosé experience.

White Wine Slushy

White wine fans — this is the perfect summer drink for you. First, you’ll need to make simple syrup by heating ½ cup of water and ½ cup of sugar. After that cools, blend ¼ cup of it with your two slushys — 1 cup of white wine, 1 cup of ice and 2 cups of your frozen fruit of choice.

This recipe recommends strawberries and pineapple, but you could use any other combination that goes together well if those aren’t your first choices. Like the strawberry mango slushy, you’ll make two blends — one with 2 cups of strawberries and one with 2 cups of pineapple. Layer them in glasses for a terrific treat with Riesling or Moscato.

Peach Wine Slushy

Make things extra sweet with these peach wine slushys. The recipe recommends using frozen yellow peaches rather than white because they’re sweeter, but you could also add a dash of honey if they’re not available. To make them, you’ll blend one bottle of rosé or your favorite white wine, 2 cups of frozen peaches, 2 cups of frozen strawberries and a cup of ice. Mix it all together and enjoy.

If your white wine slushies feature a sweeter Riesling, the most common pairing recommendations will be sweet desserts. However, take a note from the drier Rieslings and try pairing your slushy with something spicy or rich.
